Schlötter Ireland DAC Transport
- Schlötter Ireland DAC has the capability to make multiple deliveries to different parts of the country on any given day, with a fleet of four vehicles of varying sizes to accommodate all our customers' needs.
- Our fleet consists of two16,000 kg capacity curtain-side rigid trucks and one van.
- To prepare for any emergencies, all vehicles are equipped with a first aid kit, spill kit, road warning signs, and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and respirator masks. Additionally, all vehicles are fitted with the prescribed fire extinguishers as per ADR regulations.
- All vehicles display the ADR-prescribed orange plates (front and rear) when carrying chemicals.
Other Transport-related Measures
- Schlötter Ireland DAC conducts pre-delivery walk-around checks on the chosen delivery vehicle before each delivery to ensure compliance with ADR regulations and confirm that the vehicle is in good working order and capable of making the required delivery.
- We currently have four trained ADR drivers. Refresher training is mandatory every five years. All our drivers are highly experienced in the chemical industry and are knowledgeable about the goods they carry and the necessary actions in the event of an emergency. Our drivers are also regularly involved in picking and packing orders, which helps them maintain a strong understanding of the goods being transported.
- Our two qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (DGSA’s) ensure that all ADR regulatory requirements are met and that good safety practices are maintained. These qualifications are renewed every five years.
